Well Played Board Game Café

10/10 if you are looking for some cheap fun, this is your place! My husband and I are in Asheville celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. We ate dinner and were just driving around and stumbled upon this place! We had the best time!! It was so fun playing games we grew up playing with our siblings, with each other. They had 2 walls FULL of board games. They also have a cart with a few classics like guess who, checkers, jenga etc. that were free to play. You can purchase a game pass for $7 and get unlimited games for the entire day. Pop in and out as many times as you like. Our waiter Ben was so kind and was really informative. We plan to come back before we head back home to try out their food options!!!

I’ve come here twice now for their trivia brunch. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, something that really stands out in Asheville, where one usually experiences unhelpfulness from dining and hospitality staff. The trivia game is run really smoothly and is so much fun, I highly recommend. The drinks are excellent. The food is good, but could be improved. If the kitchen program could get a little more creative and artisanal, I think it could go a long way. Overall, I always have a great time at Well Played and appreciate the competent staff.

I absolutely love going to this place. The concept all together is just phenomenal. If you and your friends/family want old fashioned "around the table" fun, go here. All the servers are amazing and I love that they will help out with pretty much any game if time permits. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Loved this place!! Literally cannot stop talking about it to my wife. I went with a couple of friends from work and we had the best time! We played new games to us that we plan to purchase in the future because of how fun they were. This place is great! $10 for a game pass and you have access to all of their 700+ game offerings ALL day. Can't wait to come back 😊

Well played Board Game Cafe is super fun and relaxing! They have over 700 board games to choose from, great food of all sorts and a bar! Once seated, choose your game (there is a guide on the wall), put the little clip up on your table number whenever you’d like to order food/drinks and enjoy! We had a cherry wine milkshake, artichoke & pimento cheese dip with naan, quiche and various beers & ciders. You may leave the cafe & return anytime throughout the day! Great vibes & fun for all ages. They even have an oversized (working) game of Operation mounted on the wall!
